In compliance with the CT Student Data Privacy Law, ACES reports all occurrences of security or data breaches.  The below list of application tools experienced a form of security breach.  Parents of students involved received direct communication from their schools' administrator.

Microsoft Microsoft 365 Suite 04/30/2024 User received an email with a link to open a file from another CT school district.  When clicked, user provided information requested.  It was determined that this was a phishing email. 0 1 Username and password, personally identifiable information (PII) has been breached Worked with a forensic group hired by ACES to investigate the breach.  Staff involved have been notified and have changed passwords.
