Glenn Archer
Co-Chair, ACES Business Advisory Council / Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce
Glenn Archer has been an active member of the ACES Business Advisory Council (BAC) since 2010. He was appointed co-chair in January 2015. He is the Business Development Executive for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. Glenn was honored to be named the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Year in 2012. Additionally, he has served as Chair of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s “The Big Connect” Expo Committee since 2008. Glenn is also the Vice-Chair of the Leadership Board of the American Lung Association, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army - New Haven Corps.
Nick Onnembo
Co-Chair, ACES Business Advisory Council
Nick is currently working as a Financial Analyst supporting the Networking and Cybersecurity Division at ISI. Nick previously worked at Yale University supporting the faculty in the Departments of Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. In addition, he spent 7 years as an Operations Manager in the Yale University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Yale University, he worked in banking and industry focused on treasury, cash management, fraud and client management. He currently serves on the ACES Foundation Board, the ACES Business Advisory Council, the Walter Camp Football Foundation and is a Residential College Fellow at Jonathan Edwards College at Yale University. He holds a BA degree in English from Duquesne University and an MBA in Business from the University of New Haven.
Tarrah Bedo
Finance Manager at Yale University
Tarrah currently works as a Finance Manager at Yale University supporting the department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. She joined Yale in 2015 as a financial analyst supporting faculty and their research portfolios, initially in Yale School of Medicine and then on Central Campus. Tarrah serves on the ACES Business Advisory Council and is a Residential College Fellow at Davenport College at Yale University. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Albertus Magnus College where she is an adjunct professor of Cost Accounting.

David Litvinoff
Town Fair Tire
David joined the ACES Business Advisory Council in 2009. He was introduced to the ACES Business Advisory Council when ACES’ students began working in the Town Fair Tire warehouse. He has been with Town Fair Tire for 38 years. David began his career at Town Fair Tire as a salesman. After two years, he moved into a store manager position. He then served as Town Fair Tire’s Director of Distribution for 10 years. He moved into his current position, Director of Special Projects, in 2013. In 2017, David became a member of the ACES Education Foundation Board of Directors. David is on the Board of Directors of the Town Fair Tire Foundation.
Terry Magun
FRESH CONCEPTS HALO BRANDED SOLUTIONS
Terry Magun is the newest member of the ACES Business Advisory joining in 2019. Magun has been in the promotional products industry since 1974 and supplied many of the top companies in the United States and Europe with creative promotional products for their sales and marketing support. Terry joined Halo Branded Solutions in 2003 and is currently an account executive at the world-wide company which is a global leader of promotional solutions, combining creativity, innovation and the most sophisticated technology for dynamic results. Terry earned the Diamond Award from the New York Specialty Advertising Association for "the best trade show traffic builder program" for his client SBC Communications. During 2002–2003 he served as President of the Woodbridge, Connecticut Rotary Club and served on the Board of the New Haven Jewish Federation as a volunteer.
Armand Muniz
VP of Marketing and Business Development with Crosspoint Federal Credit Union
Armand has worked in financial services for the last 23 years helping members of the community with their financial goals. Armand started is career working with JPMorgan Chase in Bridgeport working with families establishing and maintaining credit, saving for retirement, and planning for education saving. Over the course of his career, he was drawn to communities in need and assisting developing communities. With Crosspoint Federal Credit Union, Armand focuses his attention at working with the community and maintaining strong relationships with community groups and organizations, like ACES.
Carolyn Nelson
ACES Transition Coordinator
Carolyn Nelson has been a Special Education Teacher at ACES for over 30 years. Carolyn was selected as ACES 2001-2002 Teacher of the Year and received the ACES Vocational Services Award (VSA) in 2013. Since 2005 she has been the Transition Coordinator and Vocational Teacher at Whitney East; in this role, she works with students and families to help plan for their transition after graduation. She also coordinates the vocational plans and the job site schedule for about 75 students. She plays an active role in planning the Annual BAC Employer Recognition Dinner and serves as a liaison between the council members and the ACES community. She enjoys finding new work experience opportunities and advocating for her students.
Tony Poccia
W&M Fire Protection Services
Tony has been a member of ACES Business Advisory Council since 2016. He is currently the Business Development Representative for W&M Fire Protection Services. His Company inspects, services and monitors fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
David Quast
VALIC Financial Advisors
After graduating with a BFA in Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, David spent almost 4 years in Los Angeles, California working in comedy. David returned to Connecticut and spent 7 years working for various non-profit providers involved with direct care and managing group homes / day programs for developmentally disabled adults. During that time he obtained an MS in Management and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Hartford while deciding to focus on a career direction in business. David has worked in financial services for 19 years while spending the past 7 as a Connecticut based senior financial advisor for VALIC Financial Advisors.
Mary J. Rose
Director, Business Development at BI Worldwide
Mary J. Rose, has been an active member of the ACES Business Advisory Council (BAC) since 2014 serving as Co-Chair from 2016-2023. She also serves the community as an Ambassador for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Mary is a Business Development Director for BI Worldwide serving Fortune 500 organizations in driving revenue and engagement across customers and employees. In addition, Mary serves on the Business Advisory Board for Southern CT State University including support for their Women Leadership program. Having lost a parent as a teen, she learned early how much people matter and how precious life is which has led Mary to be recognized for her positive nature and desire to help others. Mary was formerly a Board of Directors for The Cove Center for Grieving Children to support this cause. ACES, she says, is a natural extension of her passion to work together to help people live a better life!
Todd Solli
ACES Assistant Director of Operations
Todd A. Solli began his career in education in 2002 as a Secondary Science Teacher in the New Haven Public School System. Todd joined ACES in 2013 as an administrator and has served as Assistant Principal, Principal, and most recently as Asst. Director. As an educator, Todd has won several awards, including being the recipient of the 2003 New Haven T.A.P.S. Award which recognizes and celebrates outstanding teachers, administrators, parents, support staff and community partners that go above and beyond in their efforts to help all students engage in their learning and rise to success; the 2006 Outstanding Science Educator Award from Bayer Scientific for his dedication to improving science education; and under his leadership the 2023 Magnet Schools of Distinction and the 2024 Magnet Schools of Excellence Merit Award honoring the top magnet schools in the United States. In addition to being an educator, Todd served twelve years in the United States Air Force and is a combat war veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom of which he served multiple tours of duty overseas and has received numerous achievements and awards for his service to our nation.
Brian Burkett Thompson
Gorilla Lemonade Co-Owner/Vice President of the Eat Up Foundation
Brian Burkett Thompson is Co-Owner of Gorilla Lemonade, Co-Owner of Eat Up, and Vice President of the Eat Up Foundation. He was born in New Haven, CT, and is a chef who loves cooking and the science of culinary arts. In his over 10 years in the industry working in places like the Madison Beach Hotel, Morys, Great River Golf Club, Yale University Schwarzman Center, he has had the good fortune to work with a host of amazing chefs. In addition to taking Eat Up and Gorilla Lemonades to the next level, Brian plans to one day train kids in the community on the culinary arts field and kitchen tradition to plant the seed for a future generation of chefs.
Mary-Ann White
Chair Emeritus / Coldwell Banker
Mary-Ann is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker of Orange and has been selling real estate in the region for the past 28 years. She has been recognized with the Five Star Realtor Award for each of the last five years by her satisfied clients. Mary-Ann has given back to her community in a wide variety of roles: as a member of the Board of Directors of the West Haven Chamber, as a member of the Orange Chamber Women's Leadership Committee, and as a participant in many other local non-profit activities. Mary-Ann has been recognized by the ACES Education Foundation for her long term support of ACES Vocational Services. She has served on ACES Business Advisory Council since 2001, and served as Co-chair of the Council from 2010-2015.
