EXPERIENCE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF THE ARTS

We at ECA believe in the capacity of the human spirit to CREATECONNECT and TRANSFORM. Through the intensive study of music, dance, theatre, writing or the visual arts, ECA students learn alongside practicing artists and peers as they discover their creative potential. At ECA, we question and collaborate, play and perform, as we explore ourselves and our world.

Our instructors are practicing artists and professionals who are committed to supporting you as you discover your creative potential. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work as: actors, choreographers, composers and conductors, dancers, digital artists, filmmakers, musicians, journalists, painters, photographers, poets, screenwriters and so much more.

THE PROCESS

Our application is lottery-based and ECA will be using a new platform called NOVUS.  Please review the updated application requirements below:

  • Student demographic information
  • One student question prompt
  • School counselor information form

For School Counselors

Once a student has started their application, they will see an option in their application to provide the email address for their current school counselor.  Once their application is submitted, the school counselor will receive an email which will allow them access to the informational form.

Additional Notes:

  • Grab a parent when you're ready to begin your application - you'll need their information.

  • You can save your work along the way and log back in to complete it at any time.

  • Applications will open for submission in October and are due February 8, 2025 for 1st priority.  We accept applications on a rolling basis after the due date and applicants will be placed on a wait list if all district spots are filled.
