ACES Center for Safe Schools
Empowering Connecticut School Districts with Expert-Led Safety Training and Advisory Services
The ACES Center for Safe Schools offers a comprehensive and exclusive service to Connecticut school districts, dedicated to enhancing school safety through specialized training and hands-on advisory.
Developed by emergency management specialists who are also public education school administrators, our program equips faculty, staff, and school leaders with the tools they need to effectively manage emergency situations and foster a safe, supportive school environment.
At the heart of the Center’s mission is the belief that safety training should go beyond theory.
Our approach emphasizes practical, real-world scenarios, where educators learn from experienced professionals who understand the unique challenges of the classroom.
ACES Center for Safe Schools provides both in-person and virtual workshops designed to help schools build a culture of:
- SAFETY
- PREPAREDNESS
- RESILIENCE
Through expert-led training, all school staff can gain the skills and confidence to respond effectively during crises, while school leaders receive tailored advisory services to strengthen their emergency response plans.
In addition to emergency preparedness, our Training Curriculum includes crucial topics like conflict resolution, mental health awareness, responding to student with disabilities, and cultural competence -Ensuring that safety practices are woven into the everyday fabric of the school community.
What makes ACES Center for Safe Schools unique is the opportunity for educators to learn from educators. Our program offers a sense of reassurance and peace of mind—knowing that the guidance and strategies being shared are rooted in the realities of the educational environment.
Our team of experts is not just well-versed in emergency management—they are experienced school leaders who understand the dynamics of running a safe, successful school.
Whether preparing for natural disasters, active threats, or cultivating an emotionally safe school culture, ACES Center for Safe Schools ensures that educators are empowered, confident, and ready to face any challenge, providing school districts with a safer, more effective learning environment.
