RSET Program Benefits
Primary benefits of ACES Regional Special Education Transportation program are:
- To reduce transportation costs of busing students to outplacement schools
- To alleviate daily parent calls and concerns regarding their child’s transportation needs
- To reduce districts’ work load regarding special education transportation.
Our ACES-RSET staff’s mission is to manage relations with our transportation companies efficiently and effectively addressing any issues regarding routing the children to school and back home safely. When choosing ACES-RSET as the transportation liaison, you have chosen reliability and integrity, and we are ready to be of assistance! You won’t regret choosing us by implementing this program in your district.
Our partnership with ACES for RSET Transportation Services has been nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment to providing safe, dependable transportation for our out-of-district students is evident in their professionalism and dedication. What truly sets ACES apart is their outstanding communication and collaborative spirit. They go beyond transportation as they are an extension of our educational team, working alongside us to support each student’s unique needs. Their drivers are not only punctual and reliable but also compassionate, fostering positive relationships that make each ride a seamless, supportive experience. This invaluable partnership allows us to focus on education, knowing our students’ transportation needs are met with care and expertise.
- Stefanie Savo & Thomas Zenowitz • Ansonia Public Schools
As the principal of a K-8 special education school serving students that travel from across 14 districts, reliable transportation is critical to our success. RSET has been an invaluable partner, ensuring our students arrive safely, on time, and ready to learn each day. Olga’s team is professional, responsive, and truly understands the unique needs of our students. The coordination of multiple districts can be complex, but RSET makes the process seamless. I are grateful for their dedication and highly recommend their services.
-Heather Gish Principal • ACES at Ansonia
RSET transportation services have been phenomenal in getting our students from point A to point B safely and efficiently each and every day. We rely on RSET for traditional and complex transportation needs and they have always been communicative, punctual, helpful and professional. Our district is grateful for the partnership we have with RSET and we look forward to that continuing.
-Nick DeCesare Outplacement Coordinator • Hamden Public Schools
I appreciate the collaboration from Olga and her team at ACES RSET. Their quick responses have consistently ensured the smooth operation of our students accessing their transportation services. Whether addressing issues or accommodating changes, they have been collaborative partners, especially at the beginning of the 24-25 school year when Oxford experienced unprecedented flooding. Olga and her team were responsive and got transportation going as soon as we received the OK from the structural engineers, minimizing the number of school days our students missed. Their professionalism and partnership make them invaluable partners to Oxford Public Schools in supporting our need for reliable transportation services for our students attending schools outside of Oxford. - Dr. Meghan Pogonelski, Assistant Superintendent of Student and Staff Support, Oxford Public Schools
-Meghan Pogonelski • Oxford Public Schools
Working collaboratively with ACES RSET has been wonderful experience. Whether it is through an email, a phone call or a text message, Olga and Amanda have continuous communication. Districts working together, problem solving major transportation issues, and discussing proactive strategies is and will be a continued mission for ACES RSET and New Haven Public Schools.
-Stefanie Liucci • New Haven Public Schools
ACES RSET is without a doubt one of the most dependable transportation companies that our school has have ever dealt with. I truly appreciate the professionalism and ease of working with Olga Sanchez and her colleagues. They are very responsive to any concerns that may arise and work diligently to make sure that the service they provide is safe and timely.
