ACES is pleased to announce our recent Quality of Life grant award from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. The awarded funding will support the inclusive playground that will be built at ACES Village School.

Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) was recently awarded a $7,500 general project support grant from The Petit Family Foundation. The funding will support the purchase of a new inclusive playground for the students at ACES Village School.

ACES unveiled the first full-size electric school bus in Connecticut at an event on Friday, October 15th at the ACES Transportation headquarters at 60 United Drive in North Haven. The electric vehicle (EV) and the associated charging infrastructure was made possible by matching funds awarded to ACES under the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grant administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). 

ACES is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Sadinsky as Assistant Director of Human Resources.

In the Promoting Literacy for Students with Developmental Disabilities (PLSDD) program, funded by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, the ACES Assistive Technology department will use a service dog (Preston) trained to work with disabled students. 

ACES will be offering FREE COVID-19 vaccinations at several of our schools on Friday, October 1st from 9AM-1PM.  The shots are available to ALL and no appointment is needed. The vaccinations will be provided by the CT Department of Public Health and run by Griffin Health.
