ACES Laces Up for Education Announces Inaugural Charity Walk
August 16th, 2022
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(North Haven, CT – August 8, 2022) Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is proud to announce the inaugural ACES Laces Up for Education charity walk, happening on October 16th, 2022 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT. Proceeds from the walk will go towards ACES students’ education by providing technology equipment upgrades that will be used to further enhance their education. Enjoy beautiful coastal scenery, fun activities for the whole family, and take a ride on one of the oldest working carousels! Organizers expect nearly 500 walkers to raise thousands of dollars in support of ACES students.
“We are excited to open registration for the ACES Laces Up for Education Walk. Lighthouse Point Park as the walk’s inaugural location is a natural collaboration,” said Elaine Sein, ACES Marketing and Communications Director. “With such great history and beautiful scenery, we hope to see our parents, students, staff, and community come out to support our efforts in enhancing technology programming for ACES students.”
ACES Laces Up for Education is proudly sponsored by Anthem, Crosspoint Federal Credit Union, Imaging Learning, and Performance Environmental Services. The 2-mile walk at the historic Lighthouse Point Park will also feature fun activities for the whole family. All walk participants will receive a custom t-shirt with their registration. After the walk, participants are encouraged to stay for a picnic with food, drink, music, fun beach activities, and more! Join your friends, classmates, and ACES families to raise money to help upgrade ACES students’ technology resources.
