ACES Selected as Top Workplace 2012
September 16th, 2012
Top Workplaces 2012
Creating an abundance of jobs may be the key to restoring economic prosperity, but some argue it’s how people feel in their jobs that will drive success. For the second year, employees from across Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven counties have spoken - singling out 35 companies that have raised the bar for the exemplary treatment of staffers. Hearst Connecticut Newspapers’ partner, Workplace Dynamics, collected feedback from over 14,000 employees at 62 companies about the work they do. Whether through company softball games or generous vacation packages, an inspiring leader or a strong mission, each business on the list has contributed something to the workplace that has made people excited about their jobs, and willing to share their appreciation. This survey, ranging from small companies to large across a broad spectrum of industries, underscores what workers value from their employers – and how employees can contribute to a harmonious working environment.
