ACES is the Regional Educational Service Center for the 25 school districts in south central Connecticut. ACES exists to improve public education through innovative, high-quality, costeffective programs and services. As a Local Education Agency, ACES operates schools designed to meet the specific needs of the region. ACES schools include the ACES Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School in Hamden and Thomas Edison Middle School in Meriden. ACES programs and services range from early childhood services to career development and transition for multi-challenged adults. In September 2012, ACES was selected as one of Connecticut’s Top Workplaces by the Hearst Media Group.
