Hi School Counselors! 

Counselor's corner is a space to gain relevant details about ECA, that is specific to counselors. The hope is that we create a forum of school counselors who are well equipped to navigate students through the process of gathering information and applying to ECA. Please see our November update below:

It is still not too late to sign up for a tour specifically for our district school counselors and administrators.  The next available tour is scheduled for November 30th at 1:30pm.  Please let me know if you want to join us! 

Here is some helpful info for you and your students:

1)We are now accepting applications and they are due Feb 10, 2022.   The Accept’d platform requires parents to create an account if the student is under the age of 16. Please see more about this process here.

2) Please remind your students to submit your, and that of a teacher’s, e-mail correctly into their application so that it does not delay the recommendation forms that are required.  (New Haven students should use the new-haven.k12.ct.us address as the nhps address will not go through)

3) Please encourage your students to use a personal e-mail address as opposed to their school e-mail in the application. School related emails tend to block outside communication.

4) We have a Virtual Open House scheduled for January 31 for those that missed our in-person open house in November. 

5) Students can sign up for shadows and tours online. Please see our tours page for more information.

6) It is not too late to set up a time for me to speak with your students.  Please let me know so we can schedule a time!
